Challenge Rules, Details & Deadlines
1) The Great Shape Fit Club 49-Day Body Summer Shape Up Transformation Challenge runs from June 2nd to July 21st 2012. The week of June 17th is the regularly scheduled Recovery Week for training (week without in person training sessions). During this week, challenge participants will have access to two BONUS WORKOUTS on Wednesday and Friday mornings at 5:30am at our Coppell location. All transformations must be complete by July 21st, 2012.
Each participant has 7 Weeks (49 days) to complete her Body Transformation.
2) To participate in challenge:
- You must attend workouts at Great Shape Fit Club for ALL 7 weeks to achieve results.
- You must track your weight, chest, waist, umbilicus, and hip measurements and report BEFORE and AFTER stats via email no later than MIDNIGHT (CST), July 21st, 2012.
- You must take a “BEFORE and AFTER” photo in shorts and a sports bra (or other top that exposes the mid-section). We will be taking photos on Saturday, June 2nd 7am – 9am and Saturday, July 21st, 7am-9am at our Coppell location. If you are unavailable to get your pictures taken at those times, you must EMAIL your BEFORE photos to greatshapefitclub@gmail.com no later than MIDNIGHT (CST), June 4th & AFTER photos to greatshapefitclub@gmail.com no later than MIDNIGHT (CST), July 21st.
All emailed entries should include a front shot with feet together and hands on hips and a right facing side pose with hands at chest height. Your face should be included in both shots. For each emailed entry be sure to include ONE photo with a newspaper from the current date in order to verify date of the picture (both before AND after dates). There are NO exceptions.

Photo Tip: Take both photos with the same distance between the camera and yourself and the same zoom for easy comparison.
-It is HIGHLY recommended – for your success – to post about your workouts, nutrition, and results in the Summer Shape Up private Facebook Group. You will be added to that group after registering for the challenge.
- Recording your results, workouts, and nutrition on a weekly basis will DRAMATICALLY INCREASE your chances of losing body fat and reaching your goals because of the power of social support in the Facebook group.
3) In addition to taking Before & After photos, each participant must write a 300 word essay on their before and after success story. This must be sent via email BY MIDNIGHT (CST), July 21st, 2012.
4) The Challenge will be judged by a panel of Great Shape Fit Club coaches including but not restricted to: Concita Thomas, Dustie Trigona, and Lauren Keen.
By entering this Challenge, the winner consents to the use of her name, and/or photograph in any publicity carried out by the Challenge Sponsor without further notice or compensation.
5) The Prize for Most Significant Transformation will be: “Fit For a Queen Spa Day”

6) The Challenge Sponsor’s rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to this Challenge and the awarding of the prizes.

The bonus prize is for the person who creates the best video documentary of their 49-day Transformation. The documentary MUST include at least one video diary entry (participant speaking directly to the camera).
Documentary Tip: Including footage of your meal prep, video diary entries, and workout footage will make your video more interesting and more likely to win. In order to be eligible to win this prize, the video must be submitted by MIDNIGHT (CST), July 21st, 2012 via email at greatshapefitclub@gmail.com or posted to the Fit Club Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/GreatShapeFitClub.
7) All entries become the property of the Challenge Sponsor and will not be returned.

8) The Challenge Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Challenge should an external circumstances arise which are beyond the reasonable control of the Challenge Sponsor. The Challenge Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Challenge.
This Challenge will run in accordance with these Challenge Rules, subject to amendment by the Challenge Sponsor. Challenge Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, amend, modify or terminate this Challenge or the Rules at any time in its sole discretion and without notice.
Participants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules if they participate in the Challenge.

Congratulations to Donna as Boot Camper Of The Day. Not only did she add pushups into her calf/hamstring/pushup hold in the warmup, she progressed to floor pushups during the workout AND went up to 12lb weights!!!!! She's on a mission!!!! Selma also increased to 8lb weights.
